This is not a negative review, but just more detail. I was looking for matching tile to replace broken tiles on the bathroom floor of my 1939 Baltimore home. The pattern and dimensions of this tile are the same, but it's not a match. The white tiles are bright white with a satin finish, the black tiles are glossy black, and all tiles have rounded edges. The 1939 tile has no gloss finish, no rounded edges, and the white tiles are off-white. If you're trying to match tile and you're not sure about the shade of white, put a sheet of copy paper on your floor. This tile is almost as bright white as that.
STAFF NOTE: For Pre- 1940's homes, please see our PC0209 Spiral mosaic tile pattern, which is a fully rectified unglazed porcelain in an off-white & black. This item is more in keeping with the historical tile of the pre-war era.
